Juan Marpe

Music composer and arranger, classically trained pianist, and video game enthusiast

Juan has recently completed a master’s in Sound and Music for Video Games at the Leeds Beckett University (Leeds, United Kingdom), supported by an Excellency Scholarship Fundación Mutua Madrileña. Currently, he is studying a second master’s in Media Scoring and Production at the University of Miami (Miami, United States), under a Fulbright Scholarship. Mentored by renowned composer Carlos Rafael Rivera (Queen’s Gambit, Department Q) and producer Camilo Rodriguez (Final Decision), Juan is expanding his style and gaining insight and experience in the Media and Entertainment Industry.

Educated as a composer and a pianist, he has always been in touch with diverse music styles and genres, ranging from classical music, to pop, jazz, choral, and minimalism. He is interested in exploring how these influences can coexist and interact, and in developing a holistic approach to music.

During his undergraduate studies at TAI School of the Arts (Madrid, Spain) he collaborated in several audiovisual projects, such as Cuando se Hundieron las Formas Puras (Alfredo Picazo). In 2022 he co-founded NeoMedia Music, a music-for-media producer, where he currently works, composing for video games, films, advertising, and theater.
